The room was great, and the staff were friendly. We did arrive while a cruise ship was in the harbor, which blocked the view, but once we set off, the scenery opened up and was beautiful. A must-stay if you're in Eidfjord. The location is perfect.

We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was really good. The menu had very few choices, but everything we tried was tasty. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options, and our room felt fresh and spacious. The staff were super friendly, too, and the view was amazing until a huge cruise ship docked and blocked it on our first morning. I'd recommend checking the ship schedule for Eidfjord before booking. I loved my time here and would happily stay a few nights.

We had no cruise ships in port, so the balcony views were great. We loved the hotel and the village of Eidfjord, and breakfast had lots of choices. The location is great, as long as there's no cruise ship at the dock.

We paid an extra 300 NOK for our dog, and the staff treated all of us very warmly. We got the room we had paid for, not a worse one because we brought a dog. The location is very good, but keep the ferry schedule in mind if you're paying extra for a fjord view. For most of the day, a large ferry sits right by the window, docking at 7am and leaving at 7pm. It blocks the view and brings noise from its 1,000-3,000 passengers and the buses taking them on tours.
