I booked on the same day after finding the hotel by chance. Miro at reception replied quickly with directions and greeted me warmly when I arrived. When I asked to stay an extra night, she kindly helped me extend the booking. Breakfast at the restaurant was lovely, with a healthy spread and a view over the fjord. Waking up to that scenery was gorgeous. A fabulous stay.

We found it very good value, with a convenient, top-notch location and lovely views from both the rooms and restaurant. Breakfast was included and generous, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The brandnew restaurant also serves a delicious 4 courses sharing menu at a rock bottom price. Highly recommended.

We found a good last minute deal on a room with a sea view in this nice little fjord town, which also has a public fjord-side sauna. The room was nice and the view from it was great, though the beds felt a little small at 140 cm and the bathroom seemed pretty used. Breakfast was simple but nice, including salmon.

From the hotel there's a great view over Eidfjord, and the city center is only a short walk away. The place was very comfortable, and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

It's an older hotel that's been newly renovated, with simple rooms and no TV or pictures. The decor throughout is tasteful and uncomplicated. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good with excellent bread, and it was great value for money. We'd be happy to return.
