The location is very good, and breakfast was great. The team were lovely too, although only two people at reception were welcoming, one of them especially nice and working evenings. The others didn't seem pleased when we asked for anything. The rooms are dated but large. They changed the towels and cleaned the bathroom, but the floor was never cleaned and had a lot of grit, so the whole hotel looked grubby. The heating stopped working, though they did get it running again. The bedding smelled of body odor. I sprayed it with disinfectant, but it was still unpleasant. I don't usually expect bedding to be changed all the time, but in this case I would have appreciated it. With a bit more attention, this could be a great place.

The rooms and location worked really well for Oslo, and the prices were good. December gets very busy in the lead-up to Christmas, though, and breakfast suffered for it. It was packed, which took away some of the enjoyment.

I was in a small single room for work. It was clean and had a balcony. The hotel was busy and well located, about a 15-minute walk from Central station if you don't get lost :) It's close to lots of museums and attached to a theater. Breakfast had plenty of choice. I didn't eat there in the evening, but the restaurants seemed busy.

The rooms were comfortable, and I really enjoyed breakfast. I was a little disappointed to find the bar and restaurant closed on Sundays and Mondays in the off season. It would have been handy to relax there on the day I arrived.

The room was okay, though the bed wasn't the best. We managed. Staff seemed a little reserved and cold, but they were polite. Breakfast was noisy and the food layout felt disorganized. The vegetables were dry.
