The management's response was super unprofessional. He mansplained that we should have researched the place beforehand, and claimed he'd never heard this noise complaint before. Just scroll down through the negative comments and you'll find examples. Absolutely not recommended. At first the place seemed cute and cozy, but it was terribly loud. We could hear everything the neighbors were doing. There's a loud restaurant right below the thin wooden floors, and our room was next to the guest toilet. Not recommended at all.

We spent one night here on our summer road trip and were impressed by the stunning location. Great value for money, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The pension is cute, with a lovely location and view. Parking and breakfast at the nearby hotel are free. The kitchen is fairly small, but you can still cook something, and the bakery downstairs was very nice.

We ate there while staying in Eidfjord, and the food was excellent. Selling the bakery next door's leftovers of the day is a really nice touch too!
