I came in for coffee while kayaking around Norway, and it ended up being one of my favorite stops on the trip. The owners and staff were amazing. I also learned they have tent camping with showers and laundry. Writing this now, I kind of wish I'd stayed. Such a beautiful setting, and I really recommend a visit.

Right by the ferry terminal, this little shop makes and sells its own coffee brand. The staff were so helpful and nice. Definitely worth stopping by.

Our first night in the cottage was wonderful. We had the whole place to ourselves, and the host was very accommodating. We'd booked through booking.com for 65 euro, a fair price for such a charming spot. When we asked to stay another night, there were two other couples sharing the cottage, with two showers and one toilet for six people. We thought the same rate still seemed reasonable, but were charged 600 kr, about 50 euro more for that second night, nearly double for the same room. Maybe we should have checked the price first, but the host should have told us it would be almost twice as much. That left a sour ending to what could have been a great memory. We've stayed in 30 places in Norway so far, and this one was cute, but 110 a night is too high, especially when sharing the cottage. There are four or five rooms. To avoid disappointment and get a clear, good rate, book through a booking platform rather than directly.

If you're waiting for the ferry, this cafe and shop is an ideal place to spend the time. The coffee is easily the best I've had in Norway, a must for coffee lovers.
