Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West

The breakfast buffet has loads of choices and is already available at 04:00. The airport is just around the corner, and there's a proper gym too. I stayed for two weeks and liked the place. There's plenty of parking behind the building. My room was fairly spacious, with a proper desk for working. No small fridge, unfortunately. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and could get extremely hot.

The reception and bar staff were efficient and helpful, and the room was clean, though very basic. The towels were basic quality too, with no hand cream. The location isn't really close to the airport despite the name, and the 50-minute walk is not worth attempting. Once you're stuck out in the middle of nowhere, you're nearly forced to eat and drink at the hotel. Drinks were reasonably priced, but the food menu was limited. The food tasted okay and portions were adequate. I understand the hotel can be busy, but a "standard family deluxe" room isn't the same as one with 2_single beds. That feels almost like false advertising. The serving staff were another story...

S55 from pier 39 at the airport makes the hotel easy to reach. It's a perfect place for a quick Oslo airport stay. The staff were friendly, the room had everything I needed, and breakfast was fantastic, with something for any morning appetite.

We've used this hotel for a good few years on our skiing trips via Oslo airport. This time we accidentally booked the wrong day and were disappointed that they wouldn't amend the booking for free. It left a bad taste for a loyal customer.
