The sauna overlooking the runway is a nice touch, and there's the option to order dinner at the restaurant, though I'd like to see more choices. I've had frequent overnight layovers in Oslo and tried most of the airport hotels. This is easily the best value, probably in the whole country. A few times I've arrived in the morning after a red-eye and the front desk put me straight into a room at no extra charge, which is wonderful after sitting upright for eight hours. Breakfast is great and starts at 4am. I do miss the photo books that used to be in each room. Take the 420 bus instead of the shuttle unless you need the luggage racks.

Linda deserves a special mention for her attentive, kind service and the genuine care she showed for guests. Her warm, professional manner stood out. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I felt very well looked after throughout my stay. I had a wonderful time here and highly recommend the hotel.

I've stayed here twice on work trips and have enjoyed it both times. Simple and nice, always clean and easy, with kind staff. A pleasure to stay here!

I paid USD16 round trip for the S44 shuttle from OSL. It took 10-15 minutes without traffic. I had a six-hour layover before an early flight and may try Thon OSL next time. When I arrived at 11 PM, there was no receptionist, just self check-in with lots of questions about things like my address, then I had to prepare my own key card. There was no kettle for tea, so I drank the tap water. The long corridor lined with rooms reminded me of a prison or psychiatric ward from a movie.
