We had a great family ski week and enjoyed the apartment, even though it’s quite far from Geilo centre. Being able to ski in and out was a bonus. The apartment could use a boot and ski store: there was a storage room, but it wasn’t heated, and we’re used to having a boot dryer room. We took the 3:30 ski bus into town one afternoon and got a taxi back, about £25 one way. Pepes pizza was good. The plain and chocolate croissants from reception each morning were great, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

A contemporary apartment with ski-in, ski-out access, a gas fireplace, and a shared wellness area with a steam bath, sauna, and swimming pool.

We stayed in 17B, two families sharing an apartment across two separate floors, each with its own bathroom. The bathrooms were in good condition, and the kitchen and social area were on the floor between them. The only thing missing from the kitchen was a microwave. Ski-in, ski-out was perfect.

We visited in August 2016 and loved the apartments. They’re impressive, clean, well maintained, and nicely designed, with everything we needed, including our own sauna, which I recommend. The pool was fine for relaxing, though it can get crowded when lots of people are there. The employees were amazing and helpful throughout, from our first reservation email to the day we left. They gave us plenty of information about things to do nearby and were always friendly.

Some of the apartments are really big, but the rest feel cramped and shabby. They weren’t well equipped or very clean. We also arrived at 1am and were given poor directions for finding the keys and the apartment. It was freezing, and there was nobody at reception to help. Not a great experience.
