The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, and Lars made us a huge, delicious breakfast himself the next morning. He’d already heated the wood-fired hot tub for our arrival, so we could spend the evening enjoying the incredible sky and mountain scenery from indoors and out. I’d wondered if the bridge would get in the way, but it didn’t block the view at all. I only wish we’d arrived early enough to take a rowboat out on the calm, mirror-like water. The stay was so lovely that I’m still thinking about it a year later. Hope we get to come back!

The rooms are spacious, the view is amazing, and the food is very good. Lars is such a warm, welcoming host, and nothing feels like too much to ask. He really has a gift for hospitality.

We had a wonderful breakfast and a spacious, well-equipped room right beside the river. The setting is beautiful, and Lars, the owner, was incredibly accommodating. I’d love to stay here again in winter!

Lars was a really friendly, helpful host, and the surroundings are beautiful. You can enjoy the dock even if fishing isn’t your thing, but it’s especially nice if you like fishing or canoeing on the fjord. A great place to stay.
