I tried the steak and lasagne, and both were pretty good. Colleagues liked the kebab, though the pizza wasn’t great. There isn’t much choice for hot food in Glomfjord, so it’s good to have somewhere like this. The usual options include burgers, pizza, roast chicken, kebabs and lasagne, usually with a little side salad, plus a couple of specials. Dining hours are limited because it doesn’t get much traffic here, and I think last orders are at 7:45pm. It’s casual rather than fancy, but the food is filling, decent, and not overpriced. They have desserts too, like cake slices.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was okay. At 80 Euros for a double room with breakfast included, the price wasn’t excessive. The rooms aren’t small, but they’re quite worn and overdue for renovation. Sleep was disturbed by the factory across the street, which hums loudly around the clock.

Dinner and breakfast are available, and the service was good. The rooms are simple but perfectly good. There aren’t many places to stay in this area, but this one is better than just having to take whatever shelter you can find.

I really liked this hotel, and I don’t get the negative reviews. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are very good, and there’s room service. Breakfast and the restaurant were both really good. If you’re staying in the region, I’d choose this place.

The staff are friendly, but the price feels really steep for what you get. Maybe it once had a rustic charm, but there’s a clear difference between charm and being run down. This place has simply seen better days.
