I was on the 5th floor for two nights. At check-in, the WC had a brown stain and there were dried water marks on the faucet, so I wondered if the room had been unused for a while. The next day, housekeeping only remade the bed. They didn't take the trash or clean the toilet or faucet. The cleaning was really poor compared with the other Thon Hotels I've stayed at.

4/10
The reception staff were kind and friendly, and breakfast was nice and delicious. We booked a large room for three, and the size was good, but cleanliness was disappointing throughout. The reception carpets and sofas were very dirty and stained, and the sofa and carpet in the room had visible spots too. Even the hallways to the rooms were poorly maintained. Overall, I'd give the hotel only 4 out of 10.

The room was cold and took a while to warm up. The desk lamp was unusable because its bulb was missing. I let reception know, but they were slow to respond and unpleasant about it. Breakfast, at least, was really delicious.

The rooms are clean, practical, and good value. They're a little small, but they do the job, and the hotel is close to Oslo Central Station. Weekend breakfast starts at 7:30, which was too late for my early train, so I couldn't have any.

10/10
I was lucky to get a bigger single room than my colleagues did, and it felt spacious enough. Their rooms seemed a bit too small. The hotel was pleasant, with thoughtfully designed rooms, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast. Free tea and coffee in the lobby and the option to check out as late as 6pm on Sunday were nice extras.
