The location is very convenient, right in the city centre and steps from the metro, which made trips to places like the Opera House easy. My room at Thon Hotel Spectrum was clean and modern, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was decent. Sleep was the downside: the bar next door was noisy late at night, and rowdy people yelling in the street woke me in the early morning. Handy for getting around, but not ideal if you're a light sleeper. I'd bring earplugs.

The breakfast buffet is the main reason I'd come back, it's excellent and included. Please keep offering it, Thon Hotel. The rooms were very good too, and it's easy to walk around the city from the hotel, close to Oslo Sentrum. *chef's kiss*

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. I asked for a quiet room away from the street, since I think the bar next door would be noisy for street-facing rooms. There was some construction noise in the daytime, but it wasn't an issue. The one thing I missed was a smart TV, so I had to watch Netflix on my little computer. ☹️

Breakfast is a must here. It's so filling that I didn't need another meal until evening. Service was formidable, friendly and competent, always with a smile. The hotel is in the centre, with lots of attractions within walking distance. Absolutely recommendable. I'll visit again when I come to Oslo. Tussen takk!

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. It was larger than most European hotel rooms, with the usual amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel. I loved the friendly service and terrific included breakfast. The downside was the location for dining, there weren't many restaurants within walking distance.
