The room was clean and tidy, but the kitchen setup was the main problem. It’s very small, with no pots or pans, and when one person is cooking there’s no space for anyone else. With around 25 rooms or maybe more, people coming back from work at the same time could end up waiting for their turn.

I’ve spent plenty of nights away from home as a former flight attendant, so I was surprised by how much this place offered for the price. I booked a single room while traveling for my studies and mentioned that I might bring my dog. They switched me to a double room to make things easier, with no extra charge. I ended up leaving the dog behind but still got to keep the room. It was clean and in excellent shape, and the mini fridge was very useful. The service was great, the location is central, and parking is free. The only drawback was a distant knocking noise from outside during the day. I’d recommend it, especially to students looking for a room at short notice.

After a long trip from Hampshire via Heathrow, Oslo, and Tromsö, then a fantastic ferry ride to Harstâd, the friendly staff were a welcome sight. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was excellent, and blackout blinds rounded out a five-star stay.

The location worked well, with a bus station and supermarket nearby, but the room was cold. Breakfast options were limited and very basic, and there was no food available to buy at the hotel.

The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean. The owners and staff were very friendly.
