The hotel is within walking distance of the mall, but the room was dustier than rooms at other places. Using the EV charger means paying 150 nok just to enter, and then you still have to wait for an available spot.

I know housekeeping follows a schedule, but cleaning and vacuuming soon after 7 a.m. is too early. I’d appreciate it if that could be avoided in the future.

Maya at reception really went out of her way to help when the Chromecast wouldn’t work, finding us a lead so we could stream our shows. The room was clean and spacious, just right for a one-night stay at Scandic Hotel in Håstad. We also got tasty takeaway from next door, delivered to reception, which was handy. Only drawback was the lack of parking, but otherwise we had a really pleasant stay.

There’s an open-air club directly opposite the hotel, and the soundproofing can’t keep the noise out. If you want to get any sleep, there’s no point staying here.

I was in room 437, and it was very comfortable. The location is great, the staff are great, and they’re pet-friendly too. It was nice seeing and meeting some hunden during my stay. Hard to fault, and I’d stay here again.
