I’ve stayed here on all 6-7 of my trips to Harstad. The hotel is above average, clean and tidy, with good service and a central location. Some rooms have really good views, while others just look at a plain wall. The breakfast is one of the better ones I’ve had, and paired with the incredible scenery, you’re in for a treat.

Harstad may be the drabbest city in Norway, so spending a day there feels like a day lost from your life. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and convenient.

I was very tired when I arrived, but stepping into the hotel felt a bit like entering a David Lynch movie. The decor was stunning and somehow in perfect, contradictory harmony with the cold, dark, snowy winter outside. The taste is debatable, but the effect was great.

The location is good, right in the city centre, and breakfast was really great. Still, there was no mustard! How can you serve sausage without mustard? Just kidding. Parking is only in the public lot, and the view was horrible, no view at all unless you enjoy a wall with windows looking at you. Anyway, it was a good experience as long as you avoid looking out.
