Our room looked out over the forest, and the whole hotel was so peaceful. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. We came for one night during our Oslo trip and left wishing we'd booked another. Leaning into the digital detox the hotel recommends really did make it feel like an escape from the real world. We ate very well too. The brasserie menu had plenty of variety and was fairly friendly for vegetarians and vegans. Everything we ordered tasted great, breakfast had more to offer than many standard hotels and catered well to dietary needs, and the bar team made tasty, creative cocktails. The spa was clean, relaxing, and had lots of facilities. I especially liked the jungle sauna and heated outdoor pool. Our massage was handled professionally and with care. Before booking, it's worth checking the spa's etiquette and swimwear guidance, since local sauna customs can include nudity or using a towel in the steam room and sauna. It might be surprising at first, but I barely noticed after a while.

I really enjoyed the flower power sauna ceremony, and the pools, sauna, steam rooms, and hot baths were amazing. We went from Sunday to Monday and it wasn't too busy. You need to buy swimwear, around £13, but it was comfortable and I'll wear it again. There wasn't water in the room, though there are lots of places to refill. Breakfast was great. I'd recommend it for a quiet spa break, especially since no children are allowed. We stayed one night and had a fantastic time.

A lovely quiet place to unwind while visiting Olso. The spa has several sauna options and a large pool with plenty of room. Everything was very clean, and the calm design, layout, check-in, and spa amenities all worked well. If you're going without a car, check the bus routes. One can drop you about 300m from the spa entrance. There are swimsuit-only hours, but outside those times you may be relaxing beside people without swimsuits. If modesty matters to you, check the schedule first. I'd highly recommend a visit.

For the price, a stay at The Well with a spa visit feels like unbelievable value. The spa is huge and in great condition, and the free sauna classes are not to be missed. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to make our trip special, including giving us a free drink. Honestly, this is the best hotel we've ever stayed at. Every part of it felt perfect, and we're already checking when we can come back. Thank you!

I've been to lots of spas in Norway, but this is one that really deserves to be called a spa. The saunas are nice, there are hot and cold pools and places to relax, and the whole atmosphere is lovely. It gave me hope that there are places in this country where you can unwind without that communism smell. Highly recommend 👌
