Kongsberg Vandrerhjem Bergmannen - Hostel

A quaint little Vandrehjem, with cozy rooms and friendly staff. The local train station is an easy walk away, and the route has some really nice scenery.

Breakfast was probably the best part of our stay, with lots of hot and cold food and drinks. You could even make your own waffles ;) The room and bathroom were comfortable, and the place had a large, clean kitchen where you could cook whenever you wanted. Parking was free, and it was close to both the city centre and motorway. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

The receptionist was really nice and spoke Portuguese and Spanish. There was free coffee, and the room was warm and tidy. Lots of shared spaces, too.

We were welcomed by super friendly staff, and check-in and check-out were easy. Our room was clean and had enough space for two adults, with a bath; the shared kitchen was well equipped. Outside there are a skating spot, calisthenics bars, table tennis, basketball, and soccer facilities. They belong to a school but are freely usable. Breakfast was great, with fresh egg, scrambled egg, salmon in different forms, waffles, yoghurt, muesli, and more. The fruit and vegetables were tasty, and we got much more than we expected. A great place to sleep for a night or two if that's what you need.
