In beautiful, scenic surroundings in Jondalen, near Kongsberg and only one and a half hours’ drive from Oslo, you will find the Storaas Sisters hotel. Amongst other things, we arrange courses and conferences for up to 200 people, weddings, confirmations, christenings and parties to celebrate milestone birthdays. /n/nOr you can simply relax and enjoy contemporary Norwegian cuisine from our kitchen, combined perhaps with memorable walking or ski trips around Blefjell, the mountain area right on our doorstep.

The food from the garden and farm was a real highlight, and we loved the hotel’s whole idea. It feels warm inside, with traditional touches used carefully, and the staff are genuinely friendly. You can tell they enjoy working there. We’d love to come back, and hope they can keep following their own ideas for this wonderfully unusual concept.

The hiking around the area is great, and the restaurant was nice too. It’s a lovely, secluded spot near Kongsberg, well suited to family trips or company retreats.

The Storaas sisters and their team have done a great job. We found the rooms clean and cozy, the service excellent, and the food very good and well suited to the rural setting. The meeting facilities are modern but fit in surprisingly well.

I’d love to hear more about the hotel’s history and the crocodile 😉. We had fantastic service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. Loved it, and we’ll definitely be back. I’d recommend it.

There’s a lake nearby, and the food was really good. The place is beautiful, with nature all around, plus a garden growing herbs and vegetables and some animals. I’d recommend it to anyone.
