Even with the bad weather, we had a great time, and I bet it’s even more fun when it’s sunny. I stayed with my boyfriend and my dog. The place felt really cozy, the game room had plenty to do, and the sauna lifted our mood. The big kitchen had everything we needed and more. The nice guy cleaning the rooms also helped us find ours.

The young man in charge was super nice, and the double room was very clean. We paid 1500NOK per night, a little steep, though it’s a nice place. There was no view from the window, just a TV and kitchen. The bed was a twin, a bit small for two adults, so my wife slept in the bottom bunk beside it. We could hear some noise from upstairs. Some people don’t seem to care about those below them, but maybe next time it’ll be different.

We had a double room with a shared bathroom. The bedroom was neat and clean, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The big kitchen was clean and well equipped, with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, two dishwashers, toasters, and more. There are lots of good hikes nearby, and grocery shops are an 8-minute and a 15-minute drive away. It’s about 50 minutes from Bergen and 1.5 hours from Odda/Trolltunga. It was easy to book, and the place was warm and cozy, which we really needed. You can hear people in the other rooms pretty easily, even when playing music quietly, so it might disturb others. Nobody complained in our case.
