I expected something more like a budget motel, so I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely decorated the lobby and rooms were. The lobby has a relaxed feel, and there’s a little shop by reception with food you can prepare in your kitchen. For Norway, this is fantastic value. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the towels and hand and body products were good quality. We also had a nice view from the bedroom window. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely, quiet stay at the beginning of February. It felt like we were the only guests, so we had the shared kitchen and facilities almost to ourselves. Things naturally got a bit busier over the weekend, but we enjoyed the visit throughout.

Everything was really clean and welcoming, and the residence has very nice shared areas. It’s a nice place with good service, close enough to walk to the city center, and it felt cosy.

The campsite is beautiful and well kept. The reception staff were friendly, and the showers were clean and nicely heated even in the colder months. There are plenty of facilities: a kitchen, laundry room, and small playground for children. Customers can also refill caravan water tanks and empty grey water and toilets free of charge.

The hotel has lovely views and a welcoming feel, especially thanks to "Ingrid," who was always smiling and so attentive. She makes the place feel like home. Getting there from the bus station is a downside, and taxis are expensive, but the charm makes the walk worthwhile.
