The breakfast was amazing, the bed was super comfortable, and the staff were top-notch. I did notice two things: the gym could use a bit more equipment, and the air-conditioning in the room couldn’t be turned off completely. I’m not a fan of it. Still, it’s a really great hotel, and I’ll come back.

I especially liked the loose-leaf tea selection, a small detail that made breakfast feel lovely. The warm buffet had lots of choices, including leverpostei, and the cold section had good-quality products :)

Any room issues I reported to reception were sorted out the same day, and the service was great. Communication was clear from the start right through the last minute. I spent four days here and felt the money was well spent. Breakfast was nice, with plenty to choose from. Absolutely fantastic, and I’d be happy to return if time allows.

The rooms are a bit small, but the place is very nice and clean. The staff were all friendly, and breakfast was set up really well.

The conference room itself was nice, but its IT setup didn’t work well with MacBooks, which are widely used. With prices this high, that was frustrating. Next time I have to be at the local conference center, I’ll book in Oslo instead. At least for this kind of money I’d be staying in the city center. The breakfast spread was elaborate, with pancakes, waffles, and a very cute tea station. But the milk jug at the lactose-free station had gone bad. At first I wondered if it was a Nordic fermented milk, then realized it had simply soured. Scandic hotels are usually high quality, but this one wasn’t. It’s fine if you need to be in Lillestrom. The rooms look nice, but the cleaning fell short: there was someone else’s half-empty bottle in my fridge, blood at the bottom of the toilet, and a hair in the bed that wasn’t mine.
