There’s a big playroom for children here, one of the largest I’ve seen in a hotel, which is a real plus for families. The movie room was being used for storage when I visited, and the game room was basic, with a sofa, a pool table, and a few games. I also liked the large camping area outside and found it funny and clever to see robot vacuums running around the hallways on each floor. The room was clean and comfortable, with two single beds pushed together. Staff were very friendly when I arrived, checked me in quickly, asked if I’d stayed before, and told me about the hotel and nearby attractions. There’s free parking right outside. Breakfast the next morning was very good, with fresh bread and plenty of choice. I had a caffè mocha from the bar too, which was nice enough but nothing special. Guests can use the gym at Sørlandsbadet for free. It’s around 250-300 meters away, along a beautiful coastal walk, though the walk felt longer in the rain. The partnership also includes access to the indoor pool, which is a great bonus. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with clean rooms, friendly service, a good breakfast, and useful nearby facilities.

The best part was waking up, opening the balcony door, and looking straight down the fjord toward the sea. You could hear gentle waves breaking on the little sandy beach. The view was incredible, and I’d happily stay here again. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and finished in a modern style. The bathroom was just as clean, with a heated floor and a great, relaxing shower with excellent water pressure. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and easily arranged a return taxi to under in Lindesnes for us.

We spent two nights here during our summer holiday, and our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view over the bay. Breakfast was really great, with lots of choices, and the restaurant was good too. The location is very nice, and the staff were so friendly, trying to meet all our expectations and more.
