Mindresunde Camping

The campsite has a beautiful lake view, and our spot was right by the water. We parked parallel to the shore, then the owner came over shouting that the car had to be perpendicular. We had no problem changing it, but why get so angry? It was the first bad treatment we’d had in Norway, despite visiting three times before. We won’t return.

I stayed in Cabin 10 and absolutely loved it. Mountains and clear-water lakes surround the site, and the location is breathtaking. The grounds were clean and well maintained, with a nice balance of comfort and an outdoorsy feel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and it was so quiet and relaxing. I’ll definitely come back.

The campground is a short drive from Stryn town centre, yet it’s quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. We stayed in a cabin and had a great experience: it was clean and well maintained, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were really comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful, always smiling and making everyone feel welcome. His wife runs the place with him and is such a warm, kind person. You can tell they really care about the campground. We’d definitely come back!

The campsite sits between the mountains, waterfall, and water, with stunning views all around. It’s quiet, the facilities are clean, and there’s a washing machine, dryer, and two cooking areas. Showers are included in the price.
