Right in the center of Svolvaer, so the location is very convenient. The hotel runs on self-service, though, with no staff at check-in. You need an email confirmation to get into the building and your room, but mine still hadn’t arrived when I got there. Other guests and I were stuck outside until we called a number and got the code.

No reception desk, but towels, a kettle and a fridge are provided. The rooms are very basic, though the location is convenient. It’s good enough for a night or two.

We had a spacious, clean triple room, and the bathroom was huge. We felt very comfortable there, and our dog was welcome. After a long day of travel, the contactless check-in suited us well. Checking out was just as easy since there were no keys or cards, only a code. We were happy to find a room at short notice. The price seemed fair for Lofoten in high season. I can only speak for the triple room, not the others, but our experience was absolutely positive.

We were glad we booked this room after a long day, especially since it cost about half what other hotels were asking that day. It was simple, nothing fancy, but perfectly decent for a rest. Shops and restaurants are close, including a sushi place right by the entrance, and Easypark parking is nearby. Our room had a small fridge, kettle, two cups, hairdryer and towels. There was no TV in our room. The coffee machine by the entrance didn’t work, so I lost 15 kr.

Everything was handled online, and that worked well. The room could use more hooks and hangers, especially for cyclists like us with lots of wet gear. It’s close to the town centre and the boat departure point. This was by far the cheapest place we found, though it still cost $$$.
