We were there with a group of 40, and the houses seem especially suited to big families or groups since they range from 5 to 18 people. I didn't handle the booking myself, so I can only speak to what we experienced together. The houses were clean, though the beds and furniture felt dated rather than modern. Most have saunas and jacuzzis, and the shared area has an après-ski feel that's still pleasant. The location was good, though I prefer Norway's fjords.

The ski tracks begin right outside the cabin, with lovely mountain scenery all around. I could sit in the outdoor jacuzzi's hot water and look out at the mountains, which felt like a dream. The reception staff were really sweet and welcoming. One of the best cabins to stay in.

We stayed in a Storhytta, with spacious, cozy rooms, a kitchen, a great view, a sauna, and a heated bubble bath jacuzzi. The hotel has a cozy feel inside, the owners are very friendly, and the food was amazing. A lovely spot for a couple of nights, or a short stop on a long trip through the mountains in Norway.

The surroundings were astonishing, and the place itself felt really cozy. I stopped here on the way to Geilo, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It seems like a great base for cross-country skiing.
