Getting breakfast was easy, since it’s served at the cafe beside the apartments, and it was good. There’s no kitchen in the apartment itself. The building is in the centre of sjøholt and has around 10 rooms. Check-in was simple at any hour: our named key-card envelope was left in the mailbox by the door. I gave it four stars because of the price compared with what you get.

The restaurant closed at 7, which was a shame, and breakfast was poor. The motel is near the water. I’d rate the room three stars.

Very basic, really.

Breakfast was a really nice surprise, with lots of food and fruit even though we were the only guests. The room itself was plain, but clean and set up practically, with a comfortable bed and plenty of outlets. Great!
