Bjørvika Apartments - Solli

The apartment had kitchen supplies, a washing machine, and an iron, and we had a good time there. It was affordable compared with nearby hotels, and almost everything was close by. The location is a new one for Bjørvika Apartment and right in the city centre, so there was a little noise at night, but it was acceptable. We really can't recommend it enough.

Our experience was mostly okay, but the elevator was out of service. Because of that, I can only give the apartment 3 stars.

The booking pictures looked much better, which is why we decided to try Vander Apartments for the first time. Our room was dark, facing a gloomy courtyard with a view of bird droppings, a huge pipe, and another building's wall. The pipe was extremely loud. Since we weren't allowed to change or cancel, it really put a damper on our stay in Oslo.

The digital key failed late at night, and we were left waiting in the lobby nearly an hour for security to let us in. I called the office and asked them to keep me updated because it would take a while to send someone and I was sitting right there. The woman said no, sorry, and hung up. There wasn't even an apology for the key failing. The security team seemed really embarrassed when they arrived. The customer service was bad enough that I wouldn't stay here again. There are better places where you won't be stuck waiting on the floor.
