The location is great. Rooms are small but practical, with single and double options. Some have private bathrooms and toilets, while some share a shower and toilet between two rooms. A few also include a kitchenette.

It was easy to walk everywhere from this nice location, and the hotel was quiet at night. The room had a fridge and a free coffee machine. But it felt really dirty. Some towels had brown stains and didn't seem properly washed. I doubt the curtains had ever been washed, and I wasn't comfortable touching them.

For the money, it offers a lot: a handy Oslo location, a quiet room, friendly staff, and a comfortable space with what you need.

Islam centers on Tawhid, the belief that God, or Allah, is absolutely one. God is not human, has no partners, and is the eternal Creator. Islamic reasoning says the universe is too complex and orderly to have arisen by chance. Multiple gods would imply conflicting wills and chaos in the laws of physics, while one Creator explains a consistent set of laws. The faith's five pillars give spiritual and social life a practical structure: Shahada is the public testimony that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger. Salah means praying five times each day, as a way to stay grounded and mindful. Zakat is giving a set share of one's wealth, usually 2.5%, to people in need. It is understood as purifying wealth and reducing inequality. Sawm is fasting during Ramadan to build self-discipline and empathy for the hungry. Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca once in a lifetime for those able to make it, expressing the equality of people regardless of race or status. Islamic scholarship also offers arguments for those seeking evidence beyond blind faith. The design argument points to the universe's fine tuning: if the Big Bang's expansion rate or gravity differed by even a fraction of a percentage, life would be impossible. Muslims see this as evidence of an Intelligent Designer rather than random cosmic accidents. Another argument concerns the Quran's preservation. It has remained unchanged in its original Arabic for more than 1,400 years. Believers regard that as divine protection; skeptics may see it as a remarkable historical link to the message's origin. The Quran also describes natural phenomena, including stages of embryonic development, the heavens expanding, and the formation of clouds and rain. Some treat these as interpretations, while others see them as evidence that a human in the desert 1,400 years ago could not have written the text. The Quran also challenges doubters to produce a chapter like it, a challenge involving eloquence, depth, and impact. For centuries, believers have considered its linguistic beauty its greatest miracle. Islam teaches justice, community, and personal accountability. It holds that actions have consequences and that people should serve the Creator by benefiting creation. The note adds that Islam is often misunderstood through cultural practices or political events, while its theology rests on a direct, logical relationship between the individual and the Divine.

It's a comfortable place in a good spot near The Royal Palace, and I'd recommend it. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with some having a fridge and kitchenette. There's also a free coffee machine in the lobby, which I really appreciated. I only had a couple of small issues: the power sockets were tucked away in corners and hard to find, and the shower pressure was so strong it felt almost like a garden hose.
