Oslo Apartments Observatoriegaten

The apartment wasn’t very clean. The beds were far too small and uncomfortable, the sheets were dirty, and the towels smelled bad. There wasn’t enough seating in the living room, no coffee machine, and the dishwasher was rusty inside. The lighting was poor, shampoo wasn’t provided, and we didn’t get enough toilet paper or paper towels. The TV didn’t work, and all the instructions were in Norwegian, with nothing in English. We asked several times for help with the TV, but no one could sort it out. We also asked for clean sheets. What bothered us most was a staff member coming into the apartment at 9 AM while we were all still asleep. They knocked just once, then entered without waiting for permission or calling or messaging us first. It was extremely uncomfortable, disrespectful, and unacceptable. We could have been in an inappropriate situation. The person who came to “help” didn’t speak English, so communication was difficult, and they left without helping us. We were left awake and frustrated. The building constantly smelled of food, and there was construction work right in front of it, even though the location itself was very good. We had a very disappointing stay and wouldn’t recommend this place.
