Thon Hotel Munch

The breakfast was fantastic, with lots of fresh food and a generous selection, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel feels older, and a lot of things are worn enough that it seems due for an update. It's farther from the central station than some other options, though still walkable. Being close to the political quarter and businesses makes it a good fit for people visiting for those reasons.

A little way from the centre, but still walkable. Our room was clean and simple, the bed was comfortable, and we had a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with everything you'd want and all of it super fresh!

The rooms are basic but clean, and the hotel is good value if you're fine with simple facilities. The work desk wobbled, but the staff were really friendly. There's free takeaway coffee and tea at reception. In winter, watch the uphill sidewalk outside. It was extremely slippery with ice and hadn't been cleared by the city or the hotel. I fell and slid about five metres. Somehow I didn't break anything, but my jacket was torn and is now ruined.

Once inside, the service is good, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is very good. I'd have liked more fruit. The rooms are very clean but so generic that they feel a bit like a hospital. It's not too far from the main street, but the immediate surroundings aren't nice, and from outside the hotel doesn't make you want to go in.
