Hafjelltoppen Apartments Gaiastova

We were quite happy with the apartment itself, which had three bedrooms and a sauna. But there were lots of sheep droppings downstairs by the front door, and the beds were like lying on a plank. The mattress gave way by only about two centimetres, and that was it. Even after just a few days, we could feel how uncomfortable it had been. Also, remember there’s a toll on the road up there, 30kr each time you pass, which adds another cost to an already quite expensive stay.

The location is poor, the build feels as cheap as possible, and the cleaning was bad. The cooker hood doesn’t work, and the stove is unreliable. It really feels like they’ve cut costs as much as possible to generate rental income. You can stay here, but it’s damn bad.

Really nice place. The forecast looks like snow today, though there’s not much left after the warm spell in February.

A lovely place for a winter holiday.
