The room felt airy and was furnished beautifully, with lovely colors and plenty of lamps for the evening. Mine was a single on the first floor, and it was very spacious and spotless. The bathroom water worked perfectly too. The hotel is comfortable and right in the center, near a large supermarket, the bus stop, the Namsen, its bridge, and the pretty 12th-century Overhalla church. There are lots of options for walking and cycling in the lovely countryside, and fishing too. The staff were exceptionally friendly.

I travel sometimes for my full-time job, and I compete in gaming, so decent internet matters to me. The wireless here was good enough for competitive play, and I could bring my rig and set it up on the table in the room. They seem to care about their guests, and will wake you up if you ask. I was fine with the breakfast, even though another guest didn't think much of it. Probably the best place to stay in this area.

I arrived at night to find the door locked, and neither phone number on it helped: one rang without an answer, while the other wasn't in service. I'd booked through bookings dot com, but was told locally that the place was bad and had been closed for more than two years. I had to look for another hotel that night. Not happy.

We turned up in the middle of the night and were met by smiling, kind employees. The helpful staff, nice rooms, and good breakfast were all appreciated. They saved our night!
