Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz

The staff were so warm and welcoming, and all the food was excellent. The breakfast alone was worth staying here for. I tried brown cheese during the trip and found it really unique and tasty, and I’ve been trying to find it back home in the States. But this creation in the photo was almost a religious experience. I don’t usually go for very sweet things in the morning, but this cheesy caramel deliciousness was wow. Just wow. I’ll be back! The hotel itself is nice, modern, clean, and has good rooms.

The breakfast buffet was top notch. Michael served delicious, healthy options and made them look lovely, too. We enjoyed our stay so much. The room was spacious and comfortable, every staff member was friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere.

The breakfast selection was amazing, with so much choice. My one complaint is that the hot food was almost cold, which was a shame, though I understand it’s hard when there are so many guests. We still enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. Our room was small but very pretty, and the staff were friendly and happy. There’s free tea and coffee in the reception area, which is itself pretty and a nice place to relax after all the walking you’ll do. Thanks 👍

A special thank you to Trine and Maria at the front desk. They worked hard to retrieve something that accidentally fell out of our window, and somehow found it without any damage. We were amazed. Hip hip hooray for Trine and Maria! We had a wonderful stay in a Business Room, with lots of space, a comfortable bed and sofa, and a very quiet courtyard-facing room. Breakfast was great.
