Staying there felt like breathing in the air of 50 years ago. The reception and dining room have the feel of a museum, reflecting the hotel's golden age, and I loved that. It isn't the best hotel I've ever been to, but the service is great and they really try to show that its time hasn't passed. Please don't shut this place down. Give it some time and money for the refresh it deserves.

The staff are lovely and helpful, and I'll definitely come back. It's a quiet, beautiful area, with a lake nearby that's just right for a summer picnic. The place has an amazing history too. You can even see amazing northern lights from the room window 😍

They canceled our booking by email on the day we were meant to stay. Nobody answered the phone all day, and they still haven't refunded us or replied to our email. Absolutely the worst.

It was cozy, quaint, and cute, like being at my grandparents' home. The hosts were very accommodating, and there's lots of history in the hotel. The chef, bellhop, and maintenance man were all the same very nice guy. He really does it all.

I was glad I only stayed one night. They have a policy that lets them change your room, and mine was meant to have two single beds but ended up with a double. They also swapped my original big, expensive room for a small, old one. Breakfast was included with the room I'd ordered, a small bonus in an otherwise lackluster stay. Free Wi-Fi didn't reach the old rooms where I was staying either. It was an interesting place, but if I came back to the area I'd choose the nearby camping, Målselvfossen feriesenter.
