The fish soup at the restaurant was sublime, easily one of the best I've had in Norway, and the staff were super friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the location was great. Only thing missing for tea drinkers was a kettle.

I was disappointed with the cabin and with how the complaint was handled. After my one-night stay, I wrote to Å Robuer hoping they might offer a partial refund. They replied that they “accepted my feedback,” and that was all. I booked directly on their website, choosing a discounted 1-bed cabin, but the photos gave me the impression I’d get somewhere more like the larger accommodation shown there, with a double bed and a more spacious living area. What we got was a tiny apartment with a very small twin bedroom. I could barely fit, and it was uncomfortable for two people, especially with one of us 1.90cm. The description and some of the photos showed a larger living room and bedroom, but those seemed to belong to a different, bigger 1-bed unit. When I checked out in the morning, reception was closed until 12, so there was no one there to raise the issue with. The website had made the place look very nice, which made the actual room all the more disappointing.

We booked two cabins through booking and got check-in instructions, but never saw a single person on site. There seemed to be around 40 cabins next to each other, and although there was a reception, it was always closed or looked unattended. The cabins themselves were okay, though they weren't all alike. Ours were listed as the same type, but one was noticeably better in practice, with more room in the living room and kitchen. It's a nice place with a somewhat interesting experience, but not much beyond that.

The fishing boats were right next door, and the fishmen brought in their catch every afternoon. You can buy fresh fish there and cook your own dinner. We stayed in Cabin 1, room 1, named Tover. It was clean and roomy for two, with strong wifi, a firm bed, and a full kitchen with all the utensils.

We had cabin #10 and it was simply perfect. A cool place to stay on the southwest side of the Lofoten Islands.
