The rooms are basic, but they work well as a base for budget travellers or people mainly here for trekking attractions like Pulpit Rock. Breakfast was simple but good. The location is excellent, with a gorgeous view of the lake. I was especially grateful for the owner’s kindness when my bag didn’t arrive on my flight. They took me back to the airport and waited with me until I could get it from the airline.

The room was clean and cozy, and ours faced the park. Breakfast was okay and I’d call it international, though how it’s treated depends on the other guests. It’s a nice place and very central, which also means there’s no parking lot.

Charlottenlund is the best! We had our wedding there, with a seven-course dinner and a lovely view over the great fountain. We’ve also used the restaurant for an amazing evening and a five-course dinner for two.

You’re right in the heart of town, so the location is hard to beat. Everyone was really nice, and they put breakfast out the night before, which meant you could eat whenever you wanted, even at 1am!

The rooms were comfortable and very well looked after, with a good en suite bathroom. I arrived too late to eat at the restaurant, unfortunately, but the complimentary breakfast was lovely.
