I got to breakfast a bit late, but Nicolya went out of her way to put together what was still available for me, along with coffee and a glass of water. She was so welcoming, kind, and attentive. Truly outstanding service. I highly recommend this hotel.

The facilities are great, especially the gym, with its lovely view over Stavanger. The area can be a little busy with traffic, and judging by the rooms and location, this feels more like a three-star hotel.

We had a great room with a lovely view, and the breakfast buffet was great. I especially liked the coffee and shot, which gave me a boost for the hour-long trip to Pulpit Rock. We also enjoyed spending the late evening at the rooftop bar. Tea at reception made a great first impression. She told us about an event in the downtown area so we wouldn’t miss it, and we went along. It was a fun party in the centre, and it was only happening that day.

The location is good, quiet enough but close to the port and old town. I liked the comfortable bed, big pillows, Ritual products in the bathroom, and breakfast with lots of choices. I had a standard room, which was a decent size for one person, though there wasn’t much room to move around. There was only a small round table, no desk or chair, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you need to work from the hotel.

The rooms are small but practical, though cleanliness could be better in both the corridors and the room. Breakfast was the highlight: plenty of variety, good food, and a generous cold platter available from 4:00 AM, which worked well for an early departure.
