The room we ended up with was fine, but booking was very misleading. The photos showed spacious, modern rooms on the top floor with skylights, not what we had paid for. The man on the phone wasn’t helpful and didn’t understand until we threatened to leave a bad review. They first gave us room 202, a shocker: a tiny apartment with small rooms and beds pushed against the walls. We had to work hard to get room 304, which was much nicer and what we should have been given in the first place. Beware!

Frogner House hotels are great value and in a great location, and I’d definitely recommend them. This one was perfect for us and much better than an AirBnB. It’s especially good if you’re independent and don’t need someone looking after you constantly.

We loved having the place to ourselves. Everything was handled online, so we never met anyone, which suited us perfectly. The rooftop view was amazing, and being right in the middle of the city made it easy to explore Stavanger all week. I'd absolutely stay here again ❤️

The rooftop terrace had amazing views over the city, and the apartment itself was huge. There were two bedrooms and a big kitchen, dining, and living area, with patio doors that opened. The bedroom was spacious too and had patio doors of its own. Self check-in and check-out were easy, and it was great value for money. Right in the centre of Stavanager, it was a two-minute walk to a bakery or cafe, five minutes to the sea, and ten to the shops, bars, restaurants, and cathedral. I'd highly recommend it.
