Breakfast was good, and dinner was even better. Their fish and chips has a delicious twist, so give it a try. Since there aren't nearby places to eat, we booked a table after the hotel got in touch before we arrived. Check-in was easy, and everyone working there gave us a really warm welcome.

The woodfire sauna followed by a dip in the sea for an arctic cooldown was a real highlight. Our room was spotless and looked out over the small harbour. The place sits right by the water, and the couple who own and run the holel were such kind, friendly hosts. They made us feel welcome.

We wished we could have stayed longer, though we didn't have time to do anything else. After a week in Norway, this was easily our most comfortable stay. Everything was so clean, and breakfast was complete and wonderful. The evening chef was incredibly hospitable and talented. I hadn't expected such a high-quality dinner this far out.

It was 27C in the room when we arrived and 28C when we left. With no fan or air conditioning, we couldn't sleep in the heat, and the WiFi didn't even work. When I raised it at checkout and said it was unacceptable, the morning front desk attendant was rude and offered a beer as the only reimbursement. I'd paid over 2100NOK to stay in a hot room without a fan. The audacity of that offer was outrageous.

The staff were so kind, and the management team and everyone there made our stay wonderful. Our room was very clean, well equipped, and super-designed, with an amazing view. The hotel and its quiet surroundings are extraordinarily beautiful. It's the best choice on Senja island, by all means. Big hugs to the team. I strongly recommend it.
