Langenuen Motel og Camping

We were greeted by the most amiable host at this stunning motorhome site. I rated the rooms as facilities. Pitches 5, 6, 7 and 8 are the best. Book ahead in high season if you want to guarantee the best views and afternoon sun.

It feels like the middle of nowhere, though this is the closest spot to the ferry to Bergen. We only stayed one night. It was clean and quiet, and although the site is quite close to the road, the noise really wasn't too bad for such a quiet area. The official tent area was small and tucked behind the cabins, with no views. With a few tents there, it could feel uncomfortably crowded. Since it was quiet, we were allowed to set up in the RV area instead. We got water views and a nice sunset there.

It was raining during our stay, but the beautiful surroundings seem like they’d be lovely in summer. The place was quiet, so we rested well. The cabins had enough facilities, though the rooms need updating and everything looks old and very used. The shower was broken, and that really should be one of the basics. 👍

I don't usually review campsites, but this one deserves a review, and not a good one. When I brought a camper last year, I got a beautiful spot. This time, coming with a tent, I was put away in a corner on a slope. The owner was too involved in guests' business last year, and it was the same again. He walks around acting like he's the man, but he isn't. Next time I'm near this camping, I'll avoid it and go to the next one. Other owners deserve your money more. AVOID AT ALL COST! Edit: The owner's response says enough. He didn't ask what the problem was or apologize, or put the customer first. Tragic.
