The food was a real highlight, with a generous breakfast spread and a delicious multi-course gourmet dinner. After long days skiing, the sauna was just what we needed, and our room was very comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful throughout, checking that our rented ski gear fit and replacing a set when one boot needed a small repair. The pick-up we arranged from the bus station went perfectly too. We felt well looked after, and Kamben Hoyfjellshotel made a great base for a few days of cross-country skiing.

We keep coming back, year after year, because of Elin and Martin. Their passion and personalities make this charming old hotel special. The five-course dinner at 7pm is a must, it really impressed us. Already looking forward to another visit.

The walking routes nearby are excellent and clearly signposted. We were also thoughtfully catered for as vegetarians at the five-course dinner. A wonderful little hotel, with lovely people and delicious food.

Our whole group had a great time in Kamben during our cross-country trip from 23rd to 30th of March. Elin, Martin and their team made us feel right at home with friendly service, delicious meals and a lovely breakfast. We'll definitely come back one of the next years.
