The view and location were gorgeous, with a real wow factor. We found it on a hotel site. The kitchen had what we needed, and the bathroom had basic toiletries. Still, it was very expensive and there was a lot to do before checkout. They also wouldn’t allow us even an hour of late checkout. We paid over $450 USD for one night, then had to rent towels and linens, bringing the total to more than $550. I don’t know why bedding wasn’t included in the house price. The owner had coasters and placemats but wouldn’t provide basic bed linens, which surprised us since this wasn’t a campground. An ottoman by the sofa would also make the seating much more comfortable.

A very nice apartment, with everything working well. The host was warm and welcoming, the beds were comfy, and upstairs there’s a pleasant seating area with a view of the nearby fjord.

A quiet place for a day or two. It’s a small town, with a Rima and Kiwi supermarket, but no restaurants or places that seem worth a visit. Stryn is about two hours away.
