Anders, the general manager, made my daughter’s birthday unforgettable. Once he heard we were celebrating, he contacted us about upgrading the room and surprised her with thoughtful gifts and beautiful towel decorations. He said he used to do that when he worked at a hotel in the US. His kindness really made her day. We felt welcomed throughout our stay, and the care we got was far beyond what we’ve experienced at other international hotel chains. Highly recommended!

The location was convenient, the room was clean, and the smart TV worked well. But during our three-night stay, nobody cleaned the room and there was no reception staff. We needed fresh towels and had no idea who to contact or ask for help. Given that experience, we wouldn’t stay here again and can’t recommend it.

The room matched the online description and was even better, and the whole hotel was super clean. The staff were friendly, caring, and helpful. Anders made the trip especially memorable. The stay exceeded my expectations, and I’d come back and recommend it to everyone.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was good and well equipped, and the bathroom was good too. Great value for the price.

We stopped here for one night on the way to Geiranger and booked a room with two queen beds for three people. It looked nothing like the website photos: it was dark, outdated, and so small we couldn’t even open all our luggage. At almost $350 for the night, it didn’t meet even a one-star hotel standard. On arrival, an email told us to collect the key from the pizza shop beside the hotel instead of reception, and we never saw anyone at reception during our stay. We called the next day several times to check out, but nobody answered or called back. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place.
