The outside may look rough, but the interior is top notch. The owners recently bought the place and did an excellent job redoing it. Our hostess was very friendly and answered all our questions. There is an elevator, but it was out of service because of a lightning strike in July 2017, so if you can’t climb stairs and plan to visit soon, call ahead. They don’t serve breakfast.

Smelly and ugly. The interior looks like it’s from the 1800s, and opening the window only lets in the sound of traffic. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Good value for money. It was clean inside and well equipped, though it felt unfinished and could use a feminine touch. The exterior could do with a lick of paint.

The rooms are large and set up for self catering, and the host was friendly.
