The snowshoe walk in Lingen yesterday was fantastic, with sunshine, snow, beautiful nature, and magnificent views all around. The snowshoes were fun to try and not too difficult. And that delicious fish soup was a real treat. Our guide Irene was so kind and told us interesting things about life in the Arctic, along with some great tips for the rest of our time in the area. I’d highly recommend the tour if you want to get closer to the fjords and Arctic nature. Thanks for everything, Irene!

I’ll remember the Lyngen Alps snowshoe trip for a long time. Irene was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who made it both safe and fun, and the scenery was stunning. An amazing adventure, highly recommended!

The campsite was very peaceful when we stayed in mid-August, and the online booking worked well. Reception was open from 18:00 to 20:00, with phone numbers available too. We had a lovely sea view right by the water. The service building is tiny, though it has two spacious shower rooms and a sauna for an extra cost. The blåisvatnet day hike is only a short drive away.

The waterfront pitches have incredible views, but there’s no service block down there, so it’s a five-minute uphill walk to reach one. There aren’t enough facilities for the number of guests, and everything gets dirty. The old block is filthy and dated, and needs a complete remodel or to be demolished. The newer block is nice, with a lovely kitchen, but it only has two toilets and two shower rooms.

This family-owned RV campsite has gorgeous views and helpful, generous staff. Booking online was easy, and the drive from Tromsø took about an hour and a half, including the ferry. The sauna and shower area was great, and I think it was about 10 euros to use by the hour. We also got to rent a boat for the day, which was a bonus!
