Svinøya Rorbuer

A quiet, tucked-away spot that’s great for a relaxing getaway, yet the town centre is only a short walk away. You can book excursions right through the resort, and the location works well for both local amenities and getting out into nature. Sometimes you don’t even need to leave to see the Northern Lights. Best place I’ve stayed in Lofoten. Can’t wait to return!

Our cabin, no. 64, had a comfortable double bed in one bedroom and a single bed in a smaller one. The living area and kitchen looked out over the harbour, and the kitchen and bathroom had modern appliances. Check-in was quick and easy. The cabins are beautiful, with a fisherman's-cabin feel and modern interiors. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and it was very quiet, though we were there out of season in the rain, with few people around. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

My apartment in the Telegraph building at Svinøya Rorbuer was spotless and well looked after. The staff I spoke to were helpful, especially when my rental car died. The place had a lovely mix of vintage style and modern features. The bed was very comfortable, there were nice views from both sides of the apartment, and there was even a deck just outside the window that I hadn’t expected. I loved staying here and would come back in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The setting is quite special, on an island of its own right beside the harbour. Inside, it’s very spacious and modern, while the outside keeps its rustic cabin look.
