Lofoten Å Hi Hostel

We were a group of 16 from a trip association and stayed three nights. The place was very clean and well organized, with some lovely trails nearby. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen. The fish stock museum tour costs around 11 euros, and I recommend it. Birds are protected in the area, and they might wake you up. There's a nice souvenir shop, a bakery, and one restaurant, though we didn't try the restaurant.

Once you've finished looking around the museum, it's easy to have a lovely quiet evening here. The hostel is right in the middle of the village, and I loved the location. The kitchen is clean and practical, and the living and dining room is a beautiful place to sit and eat. Reception is only available by appointment, but messaging made both check-in and checkout seamless.

The reception lady was very kind, and they arranged a baby cot for our one-year-old free of charge. The building is old but clean and has the facilities you need. Just keep in mind it's a hostel, with shared bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, and common areas. The floors and walls are thin, so bring earplugs if other guests or the many seagulls might bother you.

Really nice place. When every parking space was taken, the owner spoke to someone and sorted out a spot for us.
