Comfort Hotel Park

At night, two drunk girls shouted outside the hotel for a long time, and the staff did nothing. I ended up yelling from my window to ask them to be quiet. The room was very hot, there was no mini fridge, and Chromecast didn’t work. The hotel feels very old and low standard, and the staff were very difficult to talk to. It was far too expensive for what it offers and didn’t seem like part of Strawberry.

There was no privacy in my ground-floor room, which faced straight onto the street with people constantly walking past. The place is basic and poorly lit, and could use a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom feels stuck in the 1980s, and the floors are scratched and worn. A disappointing stay, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of food to choose from, and the staff were great. The leisure space was cosy too. The room was comfortable, but small, and they only clean it when you ask. Overall, it didn’t feel like a four-star hotel.

Breakfast was really good, with loads of fresh, tasty choices. The rooms are clean and cosy, and it’s an easy walk to the attractions, with easy connections to the airport and train station. Definitely a good place to stay.
