A peaceful spot with a lovely landscape around it and a playground for kids.

We were a family of four in Folldalshytta, a spacious cabin with two bedrooms, a private bathroom, and a living room joined to the kitchen. Our host Inger was kind and service-minded, stayed available throughout our visit, and gave us lots of useful tips about the area. There are fun things to do nearby, including disc golf, a zipline, a trampoline, and a climbing trail. It was cheap, and we’ll be back!

Everything was spotless, from the houses to the bathrooms. It was peaceful, the owner was nice, and there was a lovely herd of cows 😊 Thank you, everything was perfect.

A nice spot in the middle of the forest, about 8 km from Tynset center.

For €80 for seven people, it was hard to ask for more. The cabins were basic but functional and had everything we needed. Someone was still available when we arrived at 11:30 PM. If you're heading north, say to the island of Hitra, this is a good overnight stop, and you can reach the water shortly after lunch.
