Safari Wildlife Lodge & Camp

We got a great booking deal and enjoyed our stay. The meals were the best I've had in town. The canoe launch is a short walk away, and there's a shop with ice-cold drinks at the end of the driveway. Our guide was great, knew a lot, and spotted animals I would have walked right past. Hot showers too.

The rooms were dirty, the bed was broken, and the shower was unclean. I'd booked in advance and couldn't cancel through booking, which was frustrating. The whole place was under construction as we arrived, and before we even saw the room, they were trying to sell us safari tours. Don't come here. Luckily, I found a nice lodge right next door for the same price, with breakfast, air conditioning, and a clean room.

It's a decent hotel with good rooms, and the restaurant and bar were good as well. The staff were courteous and helpful. Just don't book here if you're after absolute luxury in the middle of a forest.

A huge thank you to everyone at this hotel, especially Biswas! The team were open-hearted, attentive to our requests, and so friendly and positive. The grounds are very green, with cozy gazebos all around for relaxed evening get-togethers. It's in a great spot near National Chitwan Park.
